Cricket Nets Upgrade

The progress of the cricket net extension at Chelsea Recreation Reserve is tracking well. It has taken a while to get to this point and it is great to see it actually happening.
Work Completed This Week –
•
Completed installation of retaining wall
•
Completed installation of 20mm crushed rock base to both the additional wicket and Vmax 50 boundary runoff
•
Begun Sanding and preparation of existing fence rails and posts
•
Installed timber edging for vmax 50 runoff
•
Saw cut and remove concrete for new dividing net posts
Week Look Ahead (including, but not limited to) –
•
Complete installation of fence posts for additional practice bay
•
Complete preparation and pouring of concrete slab
•
Complete Sanding and preparation of existing fence rails and posts
•
Commence painting of all existing fence rails and posts
Target Completion Date –
Practical Completion 28th August 2020.
